Time out

Is there a length of time that you can be logged in?
I keep getting booted, inconsistently.
Is it triggered by an event or if somebody else is trying to log into my account, will it boot me?

I usually keep two Kapiland windows open while surfing, to check on my factories, to see when things are ready, even if I'm not actively playing.
So I could see if somebody is logged in and not playing you might wish to boot them.
But then again, if they are not playing they aren't using any bandwidth either.
But sometimes I get booted even when I am playing, even in a short span of time.

A couple of weeks ago somebody kept selling 1 item of goods for 0.01 caps at a time and I'm sure there was great competition to feverishly buy them all up, but I kept getting booted every 3 minutes.

Just wondering if it is a protection mechanism, time out or a bug?

Dunno, I just noticed it did it a lot that day, while that was happening but it happens all the time anyway.

You may want to steer clear of items in the market that are so ridiculous underpriced (or overpriced). Most of the time, those are transactions between people who are attempting to cheat the game, and once found by the system gang, both accounts are at risk of being deleted from the game.

There's not a lot of tolerance around here for questionable business practices, which I for one am thankful for!

There are two ways of this: first of all the session expires after some time (this is not a short period of time, though).

But if you have 2 windows with Kapilands open, click in one of the windows and then in the other one, you will also be logged out... so you cannot do this in 2 windows at the same time
