Special buildings Manager level

I reached Manager level earlier today and started researching the use of the new Special Buildings that I can now build. But I can't find any substantial information about them.

For instance, Animal Shelter. I have figured out that I can buy animals with coins to keep in my animal shelter. But can I do other things with them than just have "pets" there?

I also noticed someone selling Q34 Domestic Mice in the trade forum. How do you get quality animals; or any other quality item stored in these Special Buildings?

there are rankings of the quality animals. To get them to higher qualities you have to feed them quality animal food.

Ok. Follow up question. They don't breed, do they?

Is there anything else I can do with these buildings? I get that I can expand it to get more FA and points(?). But do these buildings come with tasks like the Kindergarten, Hospital etc?
