Was curious as to who owns this game or what company, and how many people do the mechanics of this game & the stuff that admins them self aren't able to do. such as developers, Programmers, ect. and who owns or first founded Kapilands, and how the idea to make an English version came about.
Would like to know the history of kapilands

History:
I came
I left
I returned
I owned
I ruled
I won
Happy now?

honestly though you'd have to ask a very old player or someone like knolls, goldeneye or pearlybay.

No,
Nasenprinz is.
I suppose the history is in the original German version, that became popular and upjers decided to make the game more international by translating it into a few more languages.

Kapilands is also known as Kapi3. (The third version of the game. I once found the second version which was only available in German. It was a bit harder to figure out as well.)
Azer Productions wrote:About:
Kapilands is a free browser based business/economic simulation that lets a player take control of his/her fictional company. Create and run by Upjers GmbH & Co. KG it is the english version to the award winning("Browsergame of the Year 2006") German game Kapiland. Kapilands is available to every computer with internet access as there are no downloads or plug-ins. Players can play on either of the two Realms(servers) available with the english version.
History
Kapiland launched its first server in late July of 2005 as a German business simulation game. The following July(2006) they launched their second German server soon to be followed by an English version in January of 2007. In late 2007 and early 2008 another Engish server was added along with a third and four German server with Dutch, Bulgarian and French versions of the game following soon after.
Still owned and operated by upjers GmbH & Co. KG, which offer many other browser based games including a medieval version of Kapilans called Kapi-Ragnum, the English version of Kapilands has around 200,000 accounts with over 10,000 daily visitors.

Might seem like im asking strange questions, but im actually going into game design & programming from Art Institute (AI) sometime toward the middle/end of 2010 after i move. Other then re-writing scripts for PC games i have & messing around with a game maker for 2D games im still learning the digital tools of the trade lol. learning the mechanics of the games i play are so-far helping me get the basics. I'd love to make a game like this one day, or at-least implement ideas for one.
so its just him running all the games he created or does he have assistance with the programming and such? and is there a way i can write to Upjers? (PM with info if yes)

You can contact us by using our support tool under:
http://www.support.upjers.com
We're happy to help you out if you have any further questions!
And yes, we do program the majority of our games ourselves, right here in our office in Bamberg, with the aid of several programmers, game designers and graphic artists.
Best wishes,

Nasenprinz is the founder and manager of this company, and he is male.

There are several programmers working here, most of them working on either one or more projects, both maintaining current and developing new games.
For further information on our current games, please visit:
