Expansion of building

Post by Guest » 10.12.2009, 15:15

Hi. i'm new here and recently noticed something peculiar when I tried to expand my building. I had tried to expand my factory in the red zone from 20 to 25m at 3750 cent. However, upon trying to expand further from 25 to 30m, I'm rather surprise to find that I would require 5000 instead of 3750 cents.

How is this so? Does every new attempt for building expansion increases on the previous cost for expansion?

Ok a few things.....

Two 20m buildings produce more than one 40m building, therefor it is more produdtive to build a new building (assuming you still have building slots left) than to expand.

You can employ 1 new employee (more production) for every 10m of building space. Expanding by less than 10m you get no increase in production because you can't hire any more staff.

I don't know where you got the 3750 from ? maybe a different building or in a different area. 5m on a red factory is 25000

The amount of building materials needed increases every time you level up but the actual building cost remains constant. That is to say that whether you are a merchant or trillionair 1m on a red factory will always cost 5000

when you're in the very first steps, it costs you less to expend, to help you start xD

I disagree. You use up more in materials expanding then building. (You pay twice the price of expanding another 20m2 in cash but save more than that with less building materials required.)

The cash needed, which turns into Fixed Assets, is a set fee for each country and building.

A Factory in the green zone costs 120,000 caps to building and 3,000 caps per m2 to expand.
A Factory in the yellow zone costs 160,000 caps to building and 4,000 caps per m2 to expand.
A Factory in the red zone costs 200,000 caps to build and 5,000 caps per m2 to expand.

However, as you level the amount of building materials (stone, steel and wood) increase.

The following is a list of the amount of building materials required for 1m2 depending on your level. (Remember, you will also pay cash on top of these amounts. The cash will become your Fixed Assets.)

Azer has a cheat sheet! (peaks)

After you've created 5 buildings the price increases, also depends on area...
green=min
yellow=med
red=high

I am sorry but this is not correct.
The price remains the same, only the time increases.
The first five buildings build within a short time to give beginners something to do directly after they signed up. :) If they had to wait some hours it might become very boring for them.
