I think mispelling a name should work.
On the other hand, what fun is it to use an existing name?!
I have changed my company name 3-4 times already. But I certainly wouldn't choose one that already exist.

Some people think it is cool to use an existing name.

Same as people playing some war game naming themselves alexander the great or ceasar or whatever other well known historical figure.

Usually people want to impress and feel big, so when you use a name that used to be impressive they get the idea they are impressive to.

I play some war games and nothing beats destroying people with some tough wannabee name

Hehe.
I feel it's a sort of lack of imagination if someone takes a name like that. I don't think I have ever done that. ...though I did use Aileen Wuornos last name (first American female serial killer) in a game - but I accidentally mispelled it.

Well, if someone is a great player i don't mind them using a Nick like that.
But to often you end up with some tough guys next to you and within a few days they end up being your farm and their friends start spamming you with threats

Somehow when i play travian i always end up destroying people like that just to show them using a tough name only gets you noticed by real tough guys

I always end up creating a funny new name when i start a new account, having a laugh with the name is a major fun to me.
Thats also why i actually don't understand why the company names i use in this game are so extremely dull and created without using my imagination

Real life company name = plagiarist,un-imaginative,dull and a criminal

like there's that game i'm playing, counter strike
and one of the best players in the world is spawn, so evry day you see a new n00b with that nick

(the n00bs speaks in hebrew, and says he REALY IS spawn... [thought spawn is from somewhere in europe])

There are people out there who want to make themselves feel big by copying other peoples names or they turn into bullies.

Kapilands should create a blacklist of people with bad names and bar trading with them till the get a new name. Then we should have a competition for best company name, were we have regional(your company level), state(your realm) and national(best from both realms and possibly the German realms) levels, with a prize and the ability to blacklist people with bad names to the "bad name list" until they get a better name.

This is kinda like a beauty contest for names with evil people who pick on the other people with rubbish names
