Answer to unrelated question:
Yes, if they cannot find any player who wants to sell Q0 steel by contract, big players buy from the NPC.
The fact people put Q0 steel up for a higher price then NPC price is because they are very stupid, and they hope somebody who is even more stupid will buy it.

Wanna bet there are people buying it??

I've seen power sold at .30 at R1.
Enough people prefer to buy from other players above NPC rather then buying it from system.

And it isn't even allowed to do so

i think that we should have a pact that once we get over 1 billion fixed assests( because money changes quickly and can go ove 1 bil and then u might have nothing the next day). that we should stop buying from npc. maybe once i get over 1bil assests then i will try to push this idea if i remmeber.

You have to be kidding.

Buying Q0 NPC products ABOVE the NPC is AGAINST THE RULES. Why should we all agree to break the rules?

I have millions of steel on both realms stored in my warehouse. Some of which has been bought from other players but most has come from the NPC.

The NPC is there for a reason, to be used. Why not use it?

it is? why would they create such a rule? that so silly. if i want to pay an extremely high price for my items i should be allowed to. there shouldn't be any rules stopping me :(. you jsut made me so sad. what kind of game would make it aginst the rules to do something that you can do :(.

lol, i realyl wouldn't want to pay a higher price. i just enjoy the idea of a true capitilist game. no goverment regulations. look at the united states. the more the goverment gets involved the more the economy goes south. like the post office, the roads are bad, the stock market, if only the goverment would leave thigns alone people would solve their own problems. if steel prices were higher big business couldn't expand as fast and small businesses would start producing steel and sell to the big ones and so the small businesses would grow much faster! because they are producing their own steel. well if the limit was never there. the big ones would waste space producing steel. and they would make the price drop then they would produce somethign else at higher profit. and then steel prices would go up but then the small industires would produce more steel. you know the basic law as price goes up demand goes down and supply goes up.
as price goes down supply goes down and demand goes up.
it self regulates. and if there are enough people the price will stay very steady.
