Refused cattle breeding

I have recently produced 2680 Q1 corn and was planning to use it to make Q1 cattle. I entered 90 in the cattle field and got an error message telling me that I was missing the required 2600 Q0 corn. My cattle-breeding farm has a quality level at Q10, and I have researched Cattle Q3. So getting the Q1 Cattle shouldn't be an issue. 3+1/3=1.something

What am I doing wrong? The system should ask for which quality corn I want to use (I also have a small amount of Q0 corn) but I didn't get a choice.

I chose Lambs (research Q3) just now and it didn't even ask me what quality corn I wanted to use, It just assumed Q1.

I should've been given a choice still, shouldn't I? Of whether or not I wanted to use Q0 or Q1 corn and THEN the system denies it?!

That goes for the lambs part too. I didn't get a choice of which quality to use.

That's right, you only get asked which corn to use when you have enough of both or more qualities, otherwise it will take the corn where there is enough of.
If you want to avoid mistakes in that matter, send the quality corn you don't want to use for now, to yourself by contract, and cancel the contract when you need it again.

Do you have 2700 corn of the same quality ?

You only get to choose if you have enough to produce the cattle
ie if you had 2700 Q1 and 2700 Q0 it would ask which you wanted to use.

You can't mix qualities in one production.

I know I can't mix quality. But I didn't know getting a choice depended on if I had the total amount of corn or not. I'll try to avoid having two different qualities for now.

I wish there were a confirmation page after the presented total amount used and the quality equation. Would prevent mishaps.

its confusing.


i was making watches.

and i had two gold bars q0

and 8k q20 gold

i need 9k of gold

but it said i needed 8998 q0.

its annoying

5 seconds maths for us

but could be easier if it was automatically done

and you have 854 q1 tires and 23 q15 tires and 345 q20 tires in your warehouse

and you have 2400 q23 glass and 2331 q24 glass

and you have 315 q9 textiles and 666 q16 textiles

and 12 q6 car bodies and 13 q7 car bodies

and 2 q16 engines and 5 q19 engines

and 1350 q23 plastic and 115 q24 plastic

and 44 q23 e-components and 45 q24 e-components

and 5k steel q0 and 3k steel q1

and the game tells you you need 456 more tires q1 or 4625 more tires q15 or 4523 tires q20 and 5234 more glass q23 or 3415 glass q24 and 53452 textiles q15 or 26526 textiles q16 and 432 car bodies q12 or

Simple solution:

The system picks the lowest q available. If you have some of two Qs left, it will pick "missing of the lower Q" if you have ONE Q left, that will be demanded. If you have totally run out of raw materials it will ask for Q0...
