you can make big money if you have high quality glass, plastics, textiles, oil, seeds, wood, cotton, leather (i think)

repeat, high quality!
out of those only wood can be profitable with low research, just buy cheap high quality seeds

stay away from gold unless you can sell it for 350+

Leather Jackets
Oil
Gas
Plastic
Textiles
Special building items, Q0 (Wooden Toys, Toys, Stuffed Animals, etc.)

Partially depends on what stage of the game you are talking about. When you first start out, wood q0 is the most profitable. Buildings are cheap, supplies are easy to come by, and everyone wants Q0. As you grow, have more cashflow, larger buildings, and increased Q... other products become more profitable to produce OR JUST SELL!
