Dont know what to do w/ buildings
I made the following buildings for a contest and i cant seem to make anything profitable. Cattle/pigs ect isn't worth making so im making eggs for low profit and i tired perfumes at the chemical plant but no one will buy them even at low market prices.
Cattle-breeding
Chemical plant
Any experienced players have advice?

Wool seems to be good profit.
Chickens is a decent profit to i think.
Dunno about eggs, but cattle/pigs are terrible indeed.
Lambs used to be a good profit to, but demand is low so market is easily flooded and since recent contest lambs heve been very cheap.
But wool can easily be sold at 20 each without research which is a very decent profit.
In a Chemical plant, produce Q0 items but NO PERFUMES
I think Perfumes is the only item that isn't needed in special buildings.
For special buildings several items can be extremely expensive and therefor very profitable.
However, neither of those products are as easy to be sold as items like stones, wood, water and other raw materials with huge demand.

He obviously doesn't have the Research to produce high quality right now, so right now this won't work.pk121 wrote:work on Quality...
Cattle of Q16 and up sell well on the market
Perfume make good profit in the drugstore with higher Q.
really depends on what you want to do into.
Cattle are good for Beef and Leather.
Leather is needed for Leather jackets...both make money
pk
In the long run it can work, but i doubt cattle Q16 and up are such money makers, tho right now cattle pricing is very decent ofcourse.
I wonder if cattle will remain expensive during a longer period.
Therefor i'd say, stick to Q0 moneymakers and try to get Research up first before bothering producing the other products.
Ok my specialty CATTLE, first off your first post you say cattle/pigs are terribleRonintje wrote:

now you are saying pricing is very decent...... so WTF!!!

Anyway cattle are very very very very difficult to try and make a living off of. You have to have buyers who will buy long term and pay a decent price and then you need to have good suppliers who will supply you with what you need, for example I get my seeds from a great company, but some other cattle company may produce seeds themselves but they need water so they get a water supplier.
I first started off by selling 1000 Q0 cattle every other day for 50 bucks a piece. Scared I was going to lose my buyer I told him It was 50 bucks a piece with no price increase with the Q increase. Well I started losing lots of money that way. Then after about 10-12 buyers and 2 switches in what I buy, I am now selling 2.5 million Q35 cattle a week at 425-500 a piece between 2 buyers and am working on my third.
Well, obviously the guy was talking about Q0 cattle when he asked what to produce.farmboy wrote:Ok my specialty CATTLE, first off your first post you say cattle/pigs are terribleRonintje wrote:

They, i'm sure you know very well, are TERRIBLE...
40 corn, worth 3 each needed to produce, allready 120 caps.
And i didn't even bother adding the other products to the list yet.
With 100 each sales price that definatly is a crappy business.
Right now (in R2) cattle is worth around 125 each, which is very decent indeed regarding the 70-100 each it has been for a long time.
However, i doubt it will last...like i wrote to...
At that point Q15 cattle might be worth 150 each ??
Just a wild guess using a 5Q bonus, but then still its hardly a profit.
Right now with the 120 bottom i guess right now Q15 might be worth enough to make a bit of a profit.
But like i wrote, in the long run it can work.
Once you get 400 each for your cattle, which could be possible with real good RC it does make a decent profit, as does any expensive product once it reaches high Q.
You obviously know about that.
I however think you also know how difficult it is to find customers to buy your cattle.
Its just a terrible market which is very easily flooded.
Am i right, or am i right??
