too espensive car bodies

i have just started this game and decided to produce car bodies. It was going well till i had 1,000 in the bank and 25 car bodies to sell, which no one wanted. i sold a few at 50,000 and the rest at 35,000. But that was a loss as it costs be 41,000 to make them. How can some people afford to sell them at 35,000 and is there any hope of me selling them at 47,000 on the market.

As a new player you should just be producing raw materials (power, water, stone and wood these give the best return to a new player) until you have built up a decent amount of money.

Save the long production line items until you have a better understanding of the game and more money in the bank.

but i don't want to reset, isn't there any way i can make a profit from it.

You don't have to reset if you still have building slots left.

I don't know what buildings you have but steel is the killer in the auto industry. the profit from producing your own is minimal and you would be hard pressed to buy it for less than 135.

If you are producing your own steel then you are going to have to improve the quality to make it worthwhile.

If you have building slots left start building mines and produce stones to sell. The profit from them will keep you going until your car bodies are a better quality and therefor easier to sell.

I think you are right autoslimited, the carbusiness is not what it should be, lots of people selling carparts way underpriced.
It is a pity.

But podge is also right, as a beginner it is even more difficult to make a profit in that business.
Raw materials is the answer! (except steel ofcourse).

i think i will go into the stone business as it is cheap to start up.
Need to raise the money though so selling my last 15 car bodies for 45,000 each quality 0.

Ill also buy stones 21ea if you get into that biz, but you may also want to check out Doko's textiles biz (he supplies cotton you make textiles for GREAT profit)
