unit confusion

i don't understand, when you sell stuff in the grocery store for example is that the price for everything i'm selling or per item? (eg 1 apple aposed to 1000 apples).

You sell it per item

eg i sell 10,000 apples at 18 that means im selling those 10,000 apples for 18caps each. eg 180,000caps come out of the store in the end.

If i expanded my store and could now sell 15,000 apples and entered the price of 18 again i would be selling those apples for 18caps each. eg 170,000 caps come out of the store in the end.
