Finances - Company Value

I have read and contributed to posts regarding the importance of the finances in the game, and can see both sides of the arguements that came about. Personally, I still think that there is room for improvement and was just wondering about the accuracy of the information.

Today, I have returned home from work and sorted my production lines and sent my contracts etc. Looking in the finances my company value for the last few days looked as follows:

Did you sell some coins back to the system?

They don't show on your income statement. (it's a known issue)
