Ok I've just started, done the tutorial and messed about built and destroyed about 5+ buildings and I still haven't got the hang of the game, i.e how to improve quality and why do people buy things on the market such as cars and wardrobes. Also whats the fastest "Buisness" or type of company to go into e.i cars/food/toys or are they all good profit :?: and is there any way of finding out what building can make what without making it? Thanks for any answers or info :D
I Also hope any answers can be a help to other people like me

Well, you could check this out, im not sure if it is outdated, but i found some grt info from it when i started :D
To improve quality, you need to get better quality materials and research you product in Researche Center (RC). Someone else can tell u the formula for that, im too noob to remember it (even i see it almost every day).
And i dont think ppl buy wardrobes or cars from market, they buy them from other ppl (i think). And they buy them to sell them in shops and make profit. Someone other can tell those profit and non profit production "lines".

But i think that gas is ok thing to do, but as youre a beginner, then i suggest you doing raw materials: wood, stones, power but no steel. I did start making power before i switched to oil industry. And are you on R2 or R1?

And YES, I can be WRONG.

On my opinion, on short term to get a good profit to help you grow, build a few power plants or wells and start producing and selling power or water (this on R1), you can also build mines and produce stones (huge production) that give also a good profit on market.
On long term choose your business and start invest on achieving a good quality on the way that when you start producing thoose goods you have a good quality. On my opinion on R1 the best business are Gas, Wardrobes (good FA - Fixed Assets), Jewels (golden ones - good FA also), Leather Jackets (also a good FA), but to have profit on those you should invest in quality.

He is in Realm 2 though. :P

I think stones is the best business in Realm 2.

That is because power prices are so low and profits are a lot smaller than they are in Realm 1.

That also makes stones cheaper to produce, and with stone prices so high in Realm 2 at the moment, profits are even higher.

You start with 60 slots available, make around 50 yellow mines (it's better to build new ones than expand the existing ones) and leave 10 slots available for your future business, when you have cash start building the buildings you need for your long term business and start expand them, also make expansions on your mines so to increase your production and also to put them on market to sell (it's easiear to sell a mine with 5.000sqm for 1 billion, than to sell a mine with 20sqm for 1 million)

Everybody does it slightly different but mainly the buildings to start with are mines for producing (example) stones, plantations for wood, wells for water/oil.
Also powerstations for power although you can also buy that on the market, now it is fairly cheap.
make sure you don't get in a rush but have patience, keep producing and selling and saving cash, make sure you always have cash to work with!
Keep at least 10% of your fixed assets in cash.

Take a look at the sell and buy pages in this forum where you can find companies who need stuff.
You better sell by contract if you can then on the market because there you pay 10 % commision over your salesprice.
When you find a company that needs something you produce for a good price send him a contract, but first look where his headquarters is.
Is it in the same country as yours (for instance germany) you can send the contract withoutrhaving to pay tax.
If you send contracts to companies in other countries then your own, you must also pay tax, less then 10% and it is not much, but if you just started and dont have much cash it can seem a lot.

Meanwhile check out this forum and read and explore, ingame click on info buttons and read everything that interests you.
you will soon enough get the hang of it.
Have fun. :D

50 yellow mines will cost (at the cheapest building place)
around 9 Million and
I'v only got 226,900.00 but if im making stones
I dont need all of the 5000 steel only 2500 (for Mines)
so should I sell all the stuff I don't need
and then buy as many mines as I can
or what:?: Thanks for answers :D

mines must be build in yellow. You will get a 66% production bonus there. Not in green or red.

I've gone down the stones route. and only started yesterday.

I have 1 power station, 1 well (for water), and 2 mines. I have a customer who buys my stone at a fair price, and to keep the money coming in I sell the excess power and water. As soon as I have enough money I will buy another mine and then just continue building mines as and when I can afford them. Hopefully this will give me a good foundation.

Ok Thanks,
Also are you on Realm 2?
and if so what do you sell the Stones for :?:
Should I sell the steel I won't need and other stuff?
Also to powerman
I was calling them yellow mine as thats what SiberianTiger called them
so I thought I would call
them that for that post.

Only sell the free steel if you need cash.
At one point you will want to expand your buildings and then you need wood stones and steel.
So it is really your choice.
My problem was when I started (one of my many problems  )
Was the lack of almost everything like power and water so don't think you will have a lot of excess power and water, save it, you are gonna need it badly as you get more and bigger buildings.
and the biggest problem : CASH!!
Sometimes I found myself without even enough to pay the 10% marketfee so I struggled many times.
Take it slow and yes look where you put your buildings, plantations green, mines and wells yellow, you can see it when you click the build button.
Just keep selling the raw materials and buy more buildings, more mines, etc.
Fill up most of your slots but not all.
When you have achieved a couple of million of cash, buy a shop,(gasstation or/and textilestore furniturestore) but don't use them yet, start expanding them, little by little, so when the time comes and you are bigger you can start to produce or buy finished products to put in your stores and those stores will have reached an acceptable size to sell with profit.

This is just one strategy of many, I just tell you what my experience is, but others may tell you something different and they also can be right.
But one thing I rhink we all agree on is : produce raw materials and sell as much as you can. :D

I'm in realm 2

stone sells on the market for anywhere between 18 and 27 . I would suggest you put your stones on the market and when you get a buyer igm him/her and offer to supply to him/her for a price less than just paid.
