If I was looking to make some money, would it be better for me to sell in the Market, or my Store? Which would I make more money in and which would be more practical?

while you have small to medium sized buildings, like under 8k, you can make more money in production buildings with adequate researches. after that stores become more profitable

If you make finished goods and their Q is high enough that they are worth anything at all, you should prefer to sell them in your own shops rather than the market.

However, given that you have to ask this question, you probably should make stones, power, water or wood to sell on the market to fund Q research that you can use in the future to make finished products that will sell in shops.
