So, I set my Textil;e Factory to QL0, wanting to make QL0 jeans, but they come out QL1.
Does the building level QL setting only affect the QL level of the actual good, but not affect the overall QL level, which is affected by the QL levels of the materials?
Eg: If I have Jeans QL3 & Textiles produced at QL3, then if my building's QL was set to 100 my jeans would come out at QL2 (3+3+0/3).
but if I set my building QL to 0 they still come out at QL1, i'm assuming because the Textiles are at QL3 (0+3+0/3).
If this is correct, it's a tad odd (and confusing). I simply assumed that the buidling QL level set the maximum output QL for the manufactured goods.
Logically the textiles are still better quality, but perhaps setting the building QL to 0 could mean i could higher underpaid cihldren to skid around the factory floor on the textiles before the production begins and thus make the jeans seem less quality than they were. Or even ignore the fact that the textiles were better quality and simply setting the building QL to 0 means that the workmanship is shoddier and so the resultant jeans are at the level the building requested.
I'm figuring that no changes will occur, but mainly wanted to know if i have got this right, and the building's QL edit feature is simply to alter the level of your manufactured product's QL rather than the QL of the manufactured product.
