Why wouldn't you try to sell if for the best price possible and mark it at just under or even with the lowest market price?

I dont think sub-contracting with someone else is cheating, especially if youre still selling to him at 300% of your cost ...

But id like to get an official comeback from admins.

To me anything that is over the production cost should be allowed. Lets say power you could sell at 0.04 or higher and it wouldnt be considered cheating.

That is true but people believe that you shouldnt give any helping hands finance wise as some people are then left behind. The only grey area in helping people that i see is buildings. you see you can sell buildings at lots of diferent prices- a 4000m2 factory in red could be sold and bought fo anything between 180mil-450mil. And this is still seen as perfectly legal.

Hey... this is a game. ;) And in a game there must be rules... otherwise everyone would act as he wants to. And this would certainly lead to the problem that others would complain that there are unfair players.

And by the way: What would the statistics be worth if you knew that "cheating" is allowed? Absolutely nothing!

Are you sure?
Don't lean to much out the window, please... ;)

i shall try not to goldeneye but it is true as buildings are seen as an extremely grey area to allow for free trade and market fluctualtions inc cotests. :P

This is not only for market-sales but also for contracts...
This is a "capitalistic" game... try to get most for your products. ;)
Generosity is a virtue while capitalism(Greed) is not !
And this is a business game, & "Free Trade" is just one strategy to play it. There are other ways of playing it like "Fair Trade"
GoldenEye wrote:If you want to sell your product lower and think that 10 % under the market price is not low enough (for whatever you want to do ;) ) then you can try to go lower and find a better price for you.
But I cannot guarantee that going lower is without risks: Selling too low (or too high) leads to a ban of your account.
So are you telling me I could get banned for selling products at twice their construction costs while the market value is 10 times?
Example:
Power = 0.02c
water = 0.042c

Thanks, I'll keep all this in mind if I ever feel 'generous' enough to 'support' this game!
