Does anyone have any idea how the stats page work?
All I know is that the page is recalculated daily. so this means that everyday's page is affected by the transactions that took place on the previous day..
So what does this make the "Amount" displayed on the page be? Like what is meant by the amount of animal food is 1? Does this mean that only one person in the whole realm put 1 animal food in his store at that price? Or does it mean that all stores in this market sold 1 animal food yesterday?
Or is this an average of the animal food sold in a very long period of time?
Any ideas?

the amount is how much was sold in a day. if its 1 then no one sold anything.
i only think however, that the amount is calculated only from people that visited the stores that day, so if you have sales running for say 5 days and only visit your store once it will display the amount sold from the day you set sales to the day you visited your stores and it will just display it once you clear the stores and not every day

Thanks Greed.. Well I'm trying something with one of those products now and I'll see if what you say proves to be right.
It seems consistent with my previous experiments so far.. As I thought your amount is added when you put the products in the store; not when you collect their money..
Discussion still open for other theories..

I disagree. I have tested Greed's idea with my Pullovers in Turkey as I control 99% of the market. It doesn't matter if you visit the store or not, it displays all sales on the Stats page.GREED inc. wrote:i only think however, that the amount is calculated only from people that visited the stores that day, so if you have sales running for say 5 days and only visit your store once it will display the amount sold from the day you set sales to the day you visited your stores and it will just display it once you clear the stores and not every day
