The cost of doing research in the same in red, green or yellow?

Yes, the costs are the same, only the period of time you need to research and the construction/ expansion costs are different in the several areas.

dont research, it'll cost you in sales.

Do the research, and you can double the sale price on goods.

you can't save that much money on expansion, because the materials needed to expand your buildings are the same and the materials cost more than is the money needed for expansion
