Can grocery store be expanded beyond 100m2?

Hi

My grocery store can't be expanded further than 50m2?

Is this normal or what?

Yes, check your material... if you expand and it does not work, he will give you a message, why he cannot expand... usually.

A grocery can be expanded like all other buildings: up to 32,767 m2.

If you really do not find the reason, please write again, we will check, whether it is a bug (but I assume, that there is another reason for that)

I have to ask. Why such a weird number like 32,767

Wouldn't it be better with a round number?

It is because of the data type:

16 halfword, word
Signed: −32,768 to +32,767

I'm unsure if i don't have enough material for the expansion. However, i do know that i can't click on the expand link. Hence, cannot do expansion.

I'm struck at 50m2.

Is your grocery currently selling something? You can't expand buildings while they are in use.
