Predicting sales volume?
If I am thinking about products for retail sale, I need to know two things: profit margins and sales volume. I can use Stats prices to estimate profit margins. However, I don't know how to predict sales volume
mmm... I won't say that 25h shift is ok for all products.
wardrobes should be sold on 48h shift, TV should be sold on 36h shift.
you can choose to do 24h shift with wardrobes if you set the
store at half of it's capacity. Same with TV by setting around 65%
of store capacity (including full ads).
If you don't do that for those two product, I don't think you will be able
to sell it at the market average price.

I can speak only of wardrobes as it is the only market In know by research.
There is a wide plateau of the selling time optimizing the profit (95%-100% of the max.) per hour of the shop in the range of ca. 40h to ca. 48h for an FULL ADS shop. I personally tend to sell using 48h-50h times to contribute to the growth of the average price.
Selling full rack faster than 40h diminishes your current retail profit and destroys the average price in the process (thus additionally affecting profits in the long run).

dude, you have no idea about business and stats ?GREED inc. wrote: dude did you put ads in your shops? because i can sell my wardrobes (full rack) in 25h if the quality and price are same as the average in the region

you are the guy, who lowered the stats. the experienced players try to raise the stats. thats the reason, why we sell 50% rack in 24 hours and raise the stats. only noobs sell the average-q at avrg-price.

at constant price though (+ quality increase), but i sell my wardrobes at much higher price than the stats priceGREED inc. wrote: of course i agree with all that - my posting was of purely informative nature

(because i am very lazy and it causes me very much strain to calculate the optimum price every day but i DO realize selling at avg. price doesnt make as much caps as it should

i just wanted to point out how much you can sell per time unit in your shops
