additional shop racks

is it possible to add racks/add more products in a single shop?

or is it just 1 product at a time?

A store can only sell one item at a time.

You can expand your building, which allows you to place more of the item in the store at the same time as well as hire more employees to sell your items faster.

another question. about contracts.. how does it work?

will the supplier,given that a contract already exists, have to send the product/s every time? but the payment is automatic right? i mean, the client doesn't have to pay every time transaction is made, right?

If you want to send a contract, click onto warehouse and enter the number of items you want to send in the respective field. If you scroll down, you will see the fields with the price and company's name you have to fill in.

That contract is sent only once. So if you want to send e.g. daily contracts to a customer, you have to enter the contract daily. And the customer has to sign each single contract he receives.

Long term contracts would mean a kind of automation and that is not desired by the creators. Furthermore if you have long term contracts it would also mean that a company could go bankrupt when somebody is not logging in for a longer time. One philosophy is, that everybody should be able to make a break in playing and will find his company like he left it.
