Stats Price
Hello everyone...
i just started to play this game... (i'm also playing kapi-regnum where i already have the 60 buildings) but here i am a little confused about the stats price....
Well... i'm produzing now silver necklaces... in the begginig i could sell them for 2000 caps in france... but every day that passes the price drops... i came here to the forum and realized that it was because i was selling them under the stat price.... but to sell above it take too much time to sell.... to sell under... the stat price drops...
i've made the spreashit and the graphic someone told here in the forum and the optium price his 700.. way under stat price....
i don't understand this...
what should i do??
sell at the stat price and increase the price as the quality increases too... or...
sell at optium price (and the stat price will drop and drop and drop.... )
thnks for the help guys... this game is awesome.. but hard to figure out....

I found it very helpful in determining reasonable prices.

oh and as was said thousands of times before: DONT USE YOUR PRODUCTION COSTS AS A REFERENCE! USE THE MARKET PRICES!!!

i'm sorry guys but i already read the two posts you guys indicated me...
the problem maintains...
it costs about 400 to produce silver necklaces.... i'm selling for 1000...
i'm paying each step of the production... and selling at market price... still...the stat price is droping... and i believe that the lower the stat price is... the longer will take me to sell silver necklaces at a higher price then....
should i sell at market price or should i sell at stat price?

silver necklaces:
25g silver
500 kwh power
silver:
750kwh power --> 75 caps
90l water --> 9 caps
materials needed for silver together 84 caps.
so silver necklace materials are worth
25*85+50=2175
this is only amount of money you could get if you sold your power and water on the market.
now consider that you want to make profit with each building, meaning if you produce silver in mines you would like to make say 300 caps per employee per hour (if you produce stones you make a lot more), which means each unit of silver should be worth 84+10=94 caps. silver necklace should therefore be worth 2425 caps +a little something added value from jeweler. and this is the basic price you calculate your selling price from.

i produce everything i need... going from power to silver... everything i need i produce... since i don't buy the power.... the production costs is relativetly low... i thinkGREED inc. wrote:silver necklaces:

What Greed wanted to say is as simple as that. If you can sell the material you need for the production for 2175 caps, then it makes no sense to produce necklaces and sell them for 2000 !!! You are not losing money, but you could make much more if you would not produce the necklaces.
edit: About that calculation of the right price: The column "value for me" should not be below 2200, since Greed already calculated the the material is worth 2175. It

ah, to produce everything yourself ... thing i hear sooo often
ok here goes again, to simplify the thing so it wont be too big strain for your brain i will use only power as example:
to produce one silver necklace you need 19250 units of power. at current market prices you could sell that power for roughly 1700 caps. IF you turn thaat power into silver and silver into necklaces the necklaces should be sold for more than 1700 to justify building mines, jewelry factories and jewelry stores and turning that power into necklaces. (read the article about paying your buildings)

actually in most cases it is not
as producing yourself you spend more time (and money to start production) and you get smaller profit as if you would buy all materials on market and focus only on manufacturing final goods and selling them. I mean why should you have 10 joinerys and 10 furniture shops and manufacture all materials (wodd etc) in your other building , as you can have 20 joinerys and 20 shops and buy all the materials at the market. Sure you get higher profit from joinerys and shops only
(dont bother about the numbers - i just wanted to show the rule

That depends on the product you are producing. Because you should try to get a high quality.Jonnah wrote:but... tell me...
isn't it good... to be ourselves to produze everything we need???
Sure you will not have a problem producing gas all on your own. But if you do so, you will have a power plant (for power) and a well (for oil) from those you don
