A business for me
Hello, i have been playing Kapilands for some time now, i got premium, and i have all 100 buildings. So far i have been making basic materials and selling them (power, water, stones), and that has gotten me the whole way to manager(happy). Anyway, now that i am a manager, i've been seriously thinking about going into different businesses in which i would make a material that could be sold in stores. Right now i have 25 50m2 power plants, 25 100m2 wells, 49 100m2 mines and 1 200m2 well research center (to research oil, which i was in for a little while). I've been looking into possible thinks i could do with these buildings (obviously i would have sell sell a lot), and really, power seems to be used for nearly everything, and oil is used in plastic, so really the wells can be used to make a lot too. Anyway, i need suggestions on anything i could make. Right now i'm figureing out the ratio of buildings i would need to make monitors or TVs, and which would be more profitable. Anyway, just give me any advice you can.
EDIT: By the way, i think i've figured out that TV's would be most profitable (368.25 per TV profit at 1100 sale, and with 100 50m2 electronic factories that is almost 10m caps per day, and intial investment including mats assuming stones are 27, steel 135 and wood is 60, is about 75m, so only 7.5 days to be turning total profit.)

The most profitable are cars and cabriolets. To produce a cabriolet you need (i think) 10 000 caps (if you produce everything to make it) and you sell it for 500 000 in 22h (in 700 sqm on red Car Dealer). Nice? But it takes very long to produce cabriolet.
As you i'd start to produce Wardrobes. You need steel, wood and power for it, you produce them for 50-100 caps and you sell them for 5k (or higher).

i think you miscalced a bit :ppowerenterprise wrote:The most profitable are cars and cabriolets. 10.000 caps for 1 cabriolet ?
if you see :
car body : 300 steel
cabriolet itself : 400 steel
=> total 700 steel at 135 caps/kg (at q0)
=> 94500 caps
so you should recalc it again i think
Yeah, i've been working on TVs, despite the fact that they take many products to make. What i was thinking is what if i would sell all of my buildings, start totally from scratch with ALL E-Factories. I think i could make a whole ton of money that way, probably 1/6 of fixed per day in profit, and 1/2 in revenue. I don't know, making all of the stuff yourself is overrated, because you can buy it for just slightly more on the market, and from contracts, and be much more productive.
APCE tv's are very profitable but i advise you to find reliable partners before building factories. Producing just tvs with contract bought materials (you will never get enough plastic on the market) may be profitable but only if you have high base Q. Now finding those partners may not be that hard. I know of two, Polytech for plastic and Golden Water for glass tho im not sure if they are taking in new customers. In any case do what you think is fun. In your post you are mostly talking about profits tho sometimes thats not the most important thing in the game. Hope this helped.
PS:
If you decide to produce tvs let me know ill be your customer and ill give you a small bonus to get the production up and running.

well, lol. I just saw your ad deep silver, and i sent you 207 TVs q1 as my first day (wow, way too little). Trust me, i'll be making much much more. I mainly talk about profits because this game to me is about making the most profit, which turns into more fun, at least for me personally. I play games like this one for so i can use my horribly demanding mind to think about things in advance. It's a lot to think about, so i like it.
PS: I sent the 207 q1 tvs for 1150 each, so just IGM me if your willing to help me out a little (i need like 120m caps just to get started, easier said than done).

It seems you decided to make TVs. But taking an overview on that you wrote in the first topic, you can easily get into jewellery business too with your existing infrastructure.
You only need some jewel factories. Some of the products are well supplied, but there are some, which for the demand is high, and the prices are often higher than the prices of TVs.
It is just an idea, of course you decide, but I thought it won't be a matter for you, if I mention this.

well, i ran the numbers. in 1000m2 buildings as a large scale manufacturer you need 3 e-facts to make TV's, 6 factories to make plastic, 1 to make glass, 2 for ecomps, 3 wells to make oil for plastic, and 3 power plants, unless i would want to buy power. Total, if i would build all these buildings, it would cost me approx 320mio, and i would need 5 research centers (oil, tvs, plastic, e comp and glass), which at 1000m2 would be another 107mio. I'm going to buy a few coins i would say. I know most people say that you shouldn't make 20 buildings, and not use the rest of the slots, but in this case, think of it differently. Think of those slots as POTENTIAL slots. Next time i get up the money to build another set of buildings, then i'll still have slots, and i won't have to sell buildings/expand what i have. People say it's bad not to use all of your slots, but this gives me the option to expand and stay in TVs, or keep making TVs and go into wardrobes, leather jackets, or anything else i want (by the way, i ran more numbers, and found out that unless you make the materials, wardrobes cost 1900 to make q0, figure out the profitability in that, TVs are about 850, and sell for 1100)

I can produce a lot of Plastic, how much are you wanting?
I produce my plastic at q4 but if you want more quality I might concentrate more on researching it.
