Status symbols can also be bought with caps. No problem. There is a part on the market called "status symbol market" and a part in the forum dealing with status symbols.
They come, however, into the game either with coins (somebody buys them from the system with coins) or through special events in the game... (maybe a contest).
Status symbols in Kapiland are the same like in real life: you just put them into your showcase and show others how rich you are
And: there is one more kind of status symbols: gifts... these are special symbols which can be sent to another company for 0. They can, however, not be sold by that company. So these are status symbols which can be bought just with coins... or you can get them by having very good friends, respectively business partners
