production cost

Post by Guest » 10.02.2008, 11:04

Hello guys,

I have a question about production cost. Is there any difference between producing one unit or thousand?

I produced 1 diamond, which I spend on 50 c. When I looked at the market there were prices 40 smth. All materials to produce diamond I make myself.
How is it possible or just average material cost calculated smth wrong?

Thx for all replays.

well the production cost depends on the products and the localization of the factory (red, green, yellow area)
it depends when you manufactured your diamond and products for it

where have you placed your power-plant?

1 diamond = 1000 power
power plant red: 30 Caps
power plant green: 10 Caps

This could be the difference.

red :?

So it means some of the products with much lower price are not profitable for me.

Diamonds are sold below value at the market. You could sell power for 0.1 at the market, substracting 10 % market fee -> 1000 power = 90 caps now add production cost (18) and some water and the fair value for diamonds is around 110.
