New Industry (what to build next)

Post by Guest » 29.01.2008, 16:12

Hello everyone I have been mulling over my next buisness choice for a little over a week. Currently I am in the Mining and chemical buisness (chemical as made in the normal factory) and have been making a good profit but I feel that I am not getting into half of the game like owning stores and advertisments and such. I currently have 50 buildings already and can make a good amount of raw materials and chemicals, silicon glass etc.

I am considering 2 paths one is the chemical factory and get into lotions, perfumes and stuff like that, the other would be to build an electronics factory and get into printers, e-components and computers. Does anyone have any advice about either of these buisnesses and know that I plan to keep all the mines and factories I already have but just want to augment what I have with the last building I have available before I max out and get the premium account.

For me, the most profit you can get is selling furniture (tables) and leather jackets..

Leather jackets cost you 40 and sell at 1000..
Tables cost 86 an sell at 450/500..

As you can see boot have high profit.. :)

If you go with Electronics I would go TVs or Monitors rather than Printers or Computers.

If you go with Chemicals, all are decent but I think I'd prefer Perfumes.

Of the 2, probably Electronics is the more lucrative path.

Thank you both for the feedback, I think I will go into the electronics buisness or at least give it a shot :)

leather jackets and TV's,

I suppose this game works like many others where the most expensive gets the most return, so to make the most money you'd want cars normally but this game also requires steel for building where the price for steel is so high you are really losing money turning it into a car, rather than selling the steel on the market or using it yourself for expansions.

The next would be jewelry but that requires so much power to mine gold that it becomes too big of a pain in the ass to even bother with.

The next would be electronics which is good but you have to build an infrastructure first, to make the silicon, e-components, glass, etc, etc.

Under that would be textiles, which requires only the building and the raw material, cotton, leather or wool.

So the best bet would be to start with textiles and work your way up.

I already have an infrastructure with 50 mines and 15 factories making chemicals, silicon, glass etc with 5 electronics factories as well. If it does not work I can go back to just making steel but like I said I wanted to do something new for me and I felt trying to run a buisness and actualy research quality to make all my products better sounded like a challenge rather than the typical mine coal, minerals, iron ore then make chemicals and steel even if it does make a ton of money :)
