When you reach manager level you can trade in buildings on the property market.

1) what rate of commission is charged (is it 10% like the standard market)

2) is the building usable until it is sold, and if so what happens to the product it is processing at the moment of sale

3) does your building count reduce when the property goes on the market or only when it is sold.

A similar set of questions and answers relating to technology sale could also be posted, together with the rules for transferring status symbols.
