Another thing to remember is that certain buildings expand faster than others.

My Electronics factories take longer to expand than my factories, therefore I need more of them to be able to expand at the same rate.

wells and factories can be the same size until about 1000m2. at 500m2 its about even, 10k oil 50k gas.
