it's what i did when i started - and someone will say: "so, its what you did? wow, lets do the same as he did. then you will think of yourself and think you are the best. from then on it will only become worse

Interessting. Some threads suggest buying powerplant and well, and some don't. It would suck to start over but I would've done it if needed to. But having someone like you, Azer, saying that I shouldn't probably says a lot.
I'll try to work with what I have and if it doesn't work then I probably have to start over with a different tactic.

It depends on what you use the power for, if it is only for your own production then it is better to just buy it, but if you want to sell it then obviously you should buy the plants.
Stones sell for a high price at the moment though, so that might be more profitable then Power.
A quick calculation example:
producing stones with a 100 m2 mine in yellow at Small Businessman level:
12030 stones per 24 hours.
Producing power with a 100 m2 Powerplant in red at Businessman level:
1.218.045 power per hour.
Stones sell for around 26 on the market, minus 10% marketfee you would get 23 for each stone.
Power sells for around 0,16 on the market, minus 10% marketfee you would get 0,14 per Power Unit.
COST: Stones-> 5 power, 1 water = 0,80 + 0,19 = 0,99 + general productioncost: 1,80 = 2,79 total cost per Stone.
COST: Power-> 0,03 general productioncost = 0,03 total cost per Power Unit.
Profit per Stone: 23 - 2,79 = 20,21 caps
Profit per Power Unit: 0,14 - 0,03 = 0,11 caps
Profit Stones per 24 hours: 20,21 * 12030 = 243126(p/h) *24 = 5.835.024 caps.
Profit Power per 24 hours: 0,11 * 1218045 = 133984(p/h) * 24= 3.215.638 caps.
Where can you calculate these things for yourself? HERE.

Just a word of my own history on Kapi if it can help... I first create an account and completed the tutorial session. Then I began producing apples and pears (mostly pears anyway). Then after reading this forum I realized it was the wrong way as the margins generated by the fruit sells were not that good. Then I decided to restart the game and did not run the tutorial so that I could directly by a well and power plant. That's far better tho!Andro wrote:Hmm you just made me realize something. I completely forgot (do not ask how because I don't know) I have basic stock left-over from the tutorial that I haven't really used. Wood and power. I sold 10 wood just now to test the market and it sold. If I can sell a bit of it, because I don't need it right now, then I will have the cash for my own well or powerplant.

Besides, I can produce my own wood. Didn't think of that.
Another advice is to test the market or use this forum to find fair costumer to get a correct price when selling.
