The best contests are those where you don't send in anything (at first), you just keep producing and producing, keep watching what happens,..if you can still make it at being nr 1. (which is ofcourse always a little gamble),
but nobody knows you might enter the contest, only you..

so it is your little secret..

and then at the end..the very last minutes, you know you probably have enough to get 1st, but you can't be absolutely sure..you can just imagine the top 3 thinking they have only eachother to fear, but they don't know what is coming..

But I know...

Those last minutes are nerve wrecking, the adrenaline shoots up as you enter the contest..5 minutes left..should I send in everything now? Or rather half..and see what happens, send in the rest later..gotta be quick though..only a few minutes left...2 minutes, 1 minute,....OMG..

..it is now or never..hurry, hit those buttons, NO NO NO!! WRONG PRICE!!
Try again!!! Now don't get nervous, stay calm...breathe..Jezus, it is only a game.. but hurry!!

OK, did it!
Pfff...now it is out of my hands, ... and....and...YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!

And Sally knowing my luck I would have someonering on the phone and my parents pick up- whenever that happens my internet crashes for a few minute till they hang up >.<

How odd!!

And irritating.

This is why I have my phone not from the same provider as my internet connection.
It would probably be cheaper to have the "all in one" thingy that they advertise with, (tv, internet and phone) but I know several people whose internet crashes and then they can also not use the phone anymore.

PS: Do your parents have telephone conversations at twelve o clock at night?

I have made it clear to everyone I know, I wil not pick up the phone after 22.00 hours.
For some reason people love to call me when they've had a few drinks, just to chat away about what is going on in their lifes, very interesting indeed...

Only if someone dies they can call me.

ha XD Well my gandparents phone at some very odd hours, possibly thinking im in bed so they think I won't know they are planning what to buy for me for my birthday/christmas. Alas I answer the phone

I just disconnect my phone literally. I tell everybody that has my number to call my cell if my phone is disconnected. When I'm done, I just reconnect my phone. Removing a small cable is much easier than sitting through the annoying ringing (my internet lags badly when somebody calls for the first few seconds and returns to normal regardless of if I pick up or not).
