Accounting help

Post by Guest » 10.06.2009, 17:11

I'am trying to figure out how to put all my things in an excel document.

I know I've posted before about this but this is exactly what I need

1. Total production costs

For example to produce Gas, you must take into account the cost to generate the power+the cost to drill for oil+the cost to refine the gas.

2. Track expendature

I would like to see whats being spent on, and how much

3. Track income

I would love it to be linked so that I can see exactly where the money came from and whether or not I've made money

4. Plan expantion

I'd love to take a certain amount of money and put it aside for expansion, and also let me see how much I need to make before I can expand.

Anyone got any idea how to do this because I'am so lost and getting majorly frustrated because I dont know if I'm making or loosing money.

I've found one excel document but I felt it was too complex and was more aimed at production rather than money earnt and so on.

Any help would be much appritiated and if I manage to generate any kind of good excel document from this I would be happy to share it.

I've never been good at accounts lol

I've been working away at excel for about 2 hours now and I've managed to make a good wee document.

It tells me
the total cost of a full production line
the ideal profit or loss
the production run totals and so on
required supplies
supply versus demand
and it even tells me how many facilties to buy to satisfy demand.

Its already showed me I need to build a few new things to meet my own production lines demands
