If u buy for example Q5 plastic and u alredy researched Q2 Plastic...

Do u get Q7 Plastic or Q5???

No, the quality of a product stays the same. Your research only effects the products you produce.

What Azer means is: if you buy research then that will overwrite any other research you have for that particular product.

The research ONLY applies when the item is made... so if it is made as a Q5 then it will always be a Q5 regardless of who buys or sells it.

I mean

If i research Q2 plastic and later insteed of researching Q3 I buy Q5 from another player.

Does the Q5 add with my Q2 so it will be Q7 total or does the Q5 just overwrite my Q2???

No it would REPLACE... you would upgrade to Q5

You can also downgrade if you buy lower research by accident, that too will overwrite your current research.
So be careful with that.
