I'm wanting to start a wine company, where do I begin?

Here is enough space for all players to ask questions about the game.

I'm wanting to start a wine company, where do I begin?

As the title stated, I'm wanting to start out with a wine company first. I know that I'll probably need grapes but beyond that I'm stumped. If there is anyone out there in the same or similar busines line that could give me a few pointers on what I'll need to get started I'd be in your debt.

I am reading the FAQs and searching the forum for any other mention as to this problem of mine. If you could point me in the right direction or give me a leg up in knolwedge here I would appriciate it very much.

This is a perfect example of how to phrase a question, concise and contains everything we need to know, thankyou :D
Ill assume you want to begin from the ground up:

Components
Gapes(20), Sugar(0.3), Water(0.5), Glass(0.2) and made in a Beverage Factory

Grapes
Grapes are produced in a Fruit Plantation and a 20m2 plan will produce around 1k a day
A 20m2 beverage factory will make 530 Wine a day so you will need 10-11x as much space in Fruit as wine factories take this into account when choosing buildings. If you produce your own grapes get some high Q seeds but make sure the cost is still viable

Second Stage Production
Sugar is quite expensive but the required size makes it viable for you to buy high Q from other players as is the case with glass (a cost of 100c for glass will only equate to 20c per wine ect)(Sugar is hugely overpriced at the moment because of the contest but it will drop soon)

Sales
Beverages are not the best earner in the game but wine will make you a healthy profit especially if you own the stores. Stores are expensive and your production will far outweigh your ability to sell in the beginning so consider finding a good buyer in the short-to-medium term, unfortunately I don't know any large scale sellers but a post on the sales forum may get some interest. Increase your Q as high and as fast as you can and you should do fine

Hope I helped

Also, a certain quality wine is in demand by people doing quests..They are willing to pay good money for it..I cannot say what quality, since I think it is not allowed.
But I am sure you can find out if you igm someone who knows, ingame...
