Management of special buildings

How do I decide whether to expand special buildings? Where's the info on what would result?

Expanding any of the five "task" special buildings (Kindergarden, Hospital, Nursing Home, Community building and Homeless shelter) allows you to hire more employees, gain tasks for score, and increase your Fixed Assets. (1 task per employee; 1 employee per 20m2) Hiring more employees also raises the population of the country they are built in which increases the domand of products.

Expanding any of the other nine special buildings allows you just to hire more employees and increase your Fixed Assets. Hiring more employees raises the population of the country they are built in which increases the domand of products.


Edit: Remember, special buildings and Admin buildings DO NOT COUNT towards your building count but THEY DO COUNT towards your fixed assets. They are a great way to increase your fixed assets if you have extra cash and are locked into small expantion cycles do to contracts or such.

I am a real new player. I just hit 8 million in FA + Cash in R1 and now have access to the special buildings. My question is at what point I should invest in one of these?

Also, the increase in population is for everyone or just me?

I'd say invest in them when the system sends you a message to build them for Quests.

With 8M i'm sure its better to invest in buildings that allow you to make a profit rather then special buildings that don't give you any profit at all.



And regarding the population.
Not sure, but i think it is to everybody.
