Selling at 70-100 is just exploiting new and naive players on the market.
It's nothing but dishonourable.

As long as there are people buying these lemons...sirsamby wrote:Selling at 70-100 is just exploiting new and naive players on the market.

This is a usual "behaviour" during contests... it will happen with nearly all of the future contest products, and I think that's ok. Rich companies should spend money.... and poorer ones make profit of it.
That's also the reason why there are lemons as the first contest products. Let's wait which one will be the next one

And be careful: as fast as prices rose, they can fall...
I didn't force anyone or coerce anyone into paying that much. I am a businessman, I grow fruit, my fruit is a valuable item now, damn straight I am going to exploit that. I am going to sell my lemons at whatever the market will bear to pay for them. I don't feel guilty for this, I don't have regret, and I certainly don't feel dishonorable in doing this, because it is business.Selling at 70-100 is just exploiting new and naive players on the market.
Agreed! And even if it is a little confusing to new players, there is a great big warning in the market atg the bottom of every page:
"Warning: Always check your prices first. Even the cheapest offer could be too expensive!"
I took note of this the first time I ever used the market and made sure to get familiar with the price of a product with time before I traded.

New players probably don't even know there is a contest, or haven't taken the time to worry with it, and probably wonder why the heck lemons are so high right now! They certainly aren't buying up all the lemons a top 100 company can throw on the market at 90 a pop! If they are, guess what? I win! LOLPolymerTim wrote:Agreed!
