Buying from tech market

hi i was wondering if you buy a q15 oil research from the tech market....

can i use my own research centres to upgrade it to q16??? or do i have to buy q16 from the market again?

At level Manager you can use the Technology market. It is just like the product market, someone has to place a technology on the market for you to be able to buy it.

If you buy a Q15 research it resets your research you had before to Q15. That means if you had Q21 oil research and bought a Q15 oil research you would only have Q15 oil research losing 6 research levels. That also means if you have no research, Q0, and buy Q15 research you now have Q15 research gaining 15 research levels.

The research is yours, you can research it to increase the level. There is nothing different from the research you buy on the market to the research you research yourself.
