Quality lvl??

How do you research Power and water??
I have researched Apples and Seeds to Q1 though when i produce them it displays 1/0=0 since seeds->Q1 and water->Q0, i am unable to raise the quality lvls, can someone guide/help me??

yup you cant research them so in order to produce seeds q1 u will have to research seeds to quality 2..... and so on to increase quality
