Effect of quality on goods such as...

..such as iron, coal, chemicals, steel. If i have higher quality things, what's the difference it makes?

Especially for steel, what difference does it make? Do i use less when building if it's higher quality?

No the number of material required for expansion or construction remains the same, does not depend on the quality you use.

But some other manufacturers need quality steel... e.g. furniture, car industry, computers...
