Upgrading My Seeds

i read a FAQ on this but i didnt quite understand it, so heres my situation i researched Seeds 2,

i have Q0 water, and i set the quality of my plantation to 2, and when i set the quantity to create, and then click okay it says quality 0 i dont quite understand it

with researched Seeds 2 and water Q0 u can produce seed q1
seed q2 + water q0 /2 => 2+0/2= 1

shaolin, it is exactly what he expect. But does not seem to get it.

luke2003, you may post that in the bug section. If you have level
2 research, and set q2 on your production unit, you should get Q1
seed.

Oh, yes I was thinking that he want to produce q2 seed and didn't see that he actually produce q0

When you produce, you should get a formula giving how the quality was calculated. Copy it and paste here so we can see what's going on.

It doesn't look like you set the quality. Try changing your quality to 2 or higher again and try.
