GFX Question?

I have downloaded the GFX pack, and everything was working fine, until I tried to edit one of the upper banner images in photoshop, and after I saved it, the page will not display the image. I've checked all the parameters, everything is in order, and the other image files I modified, saved and displayed just fine. Is this something anyone here is familiar with, or can answer for me, it is baffling because I can't figure out why it isn't working.

Quick question: What is it doing instead of displaying the image you want? Is it displaying the original version instead, or nothing at all?

I would suggest making sure that Photoshop didn't change the filename in any way. Possibly it saved as a different image type and changed the extension?

Try going into the game and right click where the image you want to change should appear. It should show you a link to the file it is trying to load. Make sure the file you have edited is specified by that link.

also, if its showing the original image, u may need to delete ur temp. internet files to get the page to reload with the new image.

In the upper left corner, is displaying a little image box, not the red x, but as if there is an image loading, but nothing ever does. I've checked all my settings in photoshop, and some of the images work fine, so I don't think it is that. It's only happening on the l1, l2, l3, l4 panels at the top. The file names appear fine, I just can't figure out why these particular ones don't show up. I also tried editing the image in the secretary window, same thing.

I'm wondering if there is some setting for Internet Explorer, which is not allowing these images to load for some reason, but why would the others load? Like I said, it has no logic or reason.

I've tried dumping the temp internet files, just to be sure that wasn't it.... it wasn't.

If you replace your modified file with a copy of teh original one, does it work again?

Yes.

Here's another curious thing... last night, I looked at the 'properties' of one image (which was working), and at the bottom of the info box, it said... this file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer, and there was a button to 'unblock' it... so, I thought... maybe that is the problem, and I clicked the button to 'unlock' ...never opened the file... and the picture stopped working!

It's almost as if something is reading the creation/modify date on the image, and if anything has changed, it won't work. It doesn't make sense though, because so many people have modified these with no problems.

I've been working in graphic design and photoshop since they invented photoshop, and I have never known of anything like this, and can't figure it out. It's completely baffling to me.
