production price tooo high

Post by Guest » 18.06.2007, 19:49

I was busy for all the week-end and I had not the time to play kapilands. But today I found something very strange:

All of the production price of the orders at the factory were too high; for example, I have produced ads Q5 at 8,909.94

The raw-materials were cheap ( I produce them personally ), and also the candy bar and kapi-kola production were normal

if you looked at your ware-house avaregde its normal , since when you cancel production the calculation aren't up to date...

NEVE MAKE ADS , there are huge compnies with HUGE qualities WITH LOW prices which you could never compete with , its actually cheaper buing from them than producing...

and how possible could you be newb , whan you have al those expiernced gamers - production line ^^?

the prices are too high: for example, I produce ads(Q5) at 316$ (306$+0.01$*1000) each; but this time it's 8909.94$.

probably it was a bug, because I didn't lose money.

There are a lot of people reporting incorrectly high prices listed in the warehouse. But no one has been able to pinpoint exactly why, and it has no effect on how much your company is actually spending or earning.

If you can point out a set of conditions that can get this to happen repeatedly, I'm very curious to hear. But don't worry about it otherwise.

Never happened to me, as far as I know, but I rarely check that anymore and assume that it is still the same.

But today, I canceled production and went to sell the goods I had produced 27 leather jackets, but it would only let me enter "2".
I couldn't enter "27", "22", "32" any two digit number.

so I closed, took a nap, logged back in and it worked that time.

I think a lot of these problems might be a browser cache issue, somehow.
How else could different people see different things?
Maybe set your settings to update each time you view that page.

For internet explorer,
Internet properties/Temporary internet files/settings
"Check for newer versions of stored pages"
You have 4 options,

1 every visit to the page
2 every time you start internet explorer
3 automatically
4 never

Obviously you don't want it set to never.
And if you set it to "every time you start internet explorer" then it will only check once no matter how many changes may occur.
And if you set it to "every visit to the page" it might not update when viewing the same page.

I have mine set to automatically
but I'm using firefox now anyway, so doesn't matter.

and not sure how the browsers handle PHP since the URL is always
http://www.kapilands.com/main.php4
It might think you are always on the same page, dunno.

but probably you browser.
Which one are you using?

Opera?

Guess it doesn't matter, they all are the same now anyway.
Now matter which browser you use they are still using some IE modules since AOL bought Netscape there is only one browser really left in the world, just different companies with different skins using IE modules.

Unless you wanna download Neo-planet but that's not very good.

Oh Wait, no, Look, More Browsers,

When i llook at my warehouse, i think prices arent right.
For example i make power but also have to buy it at the market.

When i produce 300.000 power at 0.01 and buy700.000 at 0.08
the warehouse tells me the price of my power is 0.03

didnt calculated it ( to lazy) but im guessing the price of my power should be between 0.05 and 0.06

From what i notice, the Warehouse price only indicate the average price and its better you do your own calculation for your cost then rely on your warehouse (this has been previous discussed on many occasion in the forum).

Animaux0, did you have any stocks in your warehouse prior to your production and purchase? if you have it might because of that, if not, then its another mystery
