Why expand the Hall of fame - building?

Why expand the Hall of fame - building?

In the specialbuilding to store contest certificates there is room for 12 difrent items. As far as I know there is only 4 difrent ones available.

Gold Medal --> 300 points
Silver Medal --> 200 points
Bronze Medal --> 100 points
Contest Certificate --> 10 points

Is there a limited number to be stored in each slot, thus needing more space? If not then the only benefit from expanding would be to raise the fixed assest and get a higher population.
