Area Info - What is "qm" ?

Under the building area info, there is a column labelled "qm". Can someone please tell me what this stands for?

e.g.
Buildings Amount qm Employees
Nursing home 1 20 2
Antiques storage 2 40 3
Car factory 62 1256 76
Car dealer 41 900 63

'qm' is the number of square meters. Its the size of that building.

When u build a building it has 20 qm. However you can expand and this allows you to have more employees and more employees means quick production

Each employee takes up 10 qm.

hehe it should have been "sq.m" or "m(power two) "
