How do advertise in mt showcase?

goto your warehouse, and on the left side theirs a button it says showcase.

then goto showcase and on the screen will show your products currently in your warehouse, put a checkmark next to the ones you want to showcase, then click refresh.

then their you have it. finished showcase.

at the top in blue writing on the showcase screen will show different links, after your showcase is done you can right click, then copy and paste the link into where you want to put a link.

Assuming I have 100 advertisements in a shop, how much does it augment my actual sales? Is it a set percentage based upon the actual number of ads?

yeah, if you round it off, (which is about 500 advertisements)

at the bottom is says:

1 out of 100 people know of your store.

after the first 500 advertisement points it changes to:

2 out of 100 people know of your store.

do I have to use the ads repeatedly? or once the people know my shop, they will know it forever?

No. If you fill your shop once with 40,000 advertising points, then these points will stay there. Even if you sell the shop. the buyer gets a shop with 40,000 advertising points.
So you have to fill each shop only once.

the ads cost nothing to re-use over and over. its like making a hole in cement, it stays until its replaced with a new slab.

(hole = ads)
(slab = store)
