Expanding??

would i be better off to expand my buildings to produce/sell more an hour, or Just buy a new building all together?

Yes, it's better to get in the habit of using search before asking. This one's been answered several times.

But just since it's a short answer:

Expanding an extra 20m uses way more steel, stones, and wood than building a new one does. More importantly, 1 40m building is not as efficient as 2 20m buildings. So build until you've about hit your limit (60 buildings regular, 20 premium) and then expand.

Man, typos all over the place lately. Between this game and a work schedule I seem to be losing some much needed sleep!

Yes, 60 regular / 100 premium. My apologies to anyone who mistakenly thought upgrading gets you fewer buildings.
