extremely high advertisement production costs!!

hey guyz,

i have this TV station (80m^2) that's charging me 972.00$ per minute!! that means it costs me about 980$ to produce ONE advertisement!! the only other info i can give us that my TV station is in germany and by HQ is in Mauritania... if that makes any difference?

the ad's are selling ont he market at 300$/ad btw... and thus, i suffer a 680$ when selling advertisements... wOOt

can some1 tell me what's going on??

You can only make loss with Advertisments, especially when you build it in red zone. In green zone it costs about 300 for one minute. But you need at least Q6 to sell it with profit.

There are more influences:

1. In red area you have higher production costs than in green area.
2. For advertisements you need a lot of power. It will make a big difference if your power costs 0,01 (in green area) or 0,03 (in red area) or 0,06 (at the market)
3. With higher quality you produce more advertisement points in the same time.

The market price for an advertisement point goes down to 50,00.
Your minimum production costs could be 280,00 (green area and 0,01 power).

If you can produce high enough quality ads and your tv-station is big enough its better to have it in red. But its a bit early for that...
