My shops are slightly different sized between 6 and 13 k so they need expansions as well - all in one area so I do not have any transport costs plus, there is only one stat applicable - makes things easier for me.

I do fuss about with the shops now and then as well, but its rather a "fiddle about with the stats to get decent sales in the shops.

Like I edited before, the supply/demand thing does not really make any sense to me. Or flour, coffee powder and stuff would turn (if you look at the little supply and HUGE demand) directly into gold.

Now Andro has some to think about 8)

IMHO supply/demand thing make difference only when supply reaches demand, then sales time increase dramaticaly.

But for some reason it does not decrease the sales time dramatically, once you start retailing certain goods with a low supply... :?

Well I must admit, I prefer retailing the kind of goods with a current low supply to increase the effect of my retailing, so I think I will not get into these regions anywhere...

I have read the entire conversation and I still haven't decided if I should keep the shops or not. Between end of July and now I have been retailing some 400k grapes that I bought off the market. I also evened out my candy stock to keep enough for x-amount of kindergarten deliveries. I will move over to candy bars, cocoa powder and sugar later. After that... NO IDEA!

I cannot find anything interesting foodwise to retail. I checked the stats for some input but nothing speaks to me. I started playing around with three food factories that I have kept (for now) and started buying quality corn only to make it to Q0 and make flour of it all. Then I slowly started making bread - which just defeats the plan I had of keeping things clean (toys and jeans only - no food).

I hate not knowing what to do.
