i want to ask you about retailing who really know about this. i will enter the joinery and furniture store business. i will try to explain by an example.for example i sell wardrobes in f. stores, the price and time depends on other wardrobe sellers price and quality or other furniture store users price and quality? if i sell chairs in my furniture stores, is it affected from wardrobe,beds,table prices and qualities? i hope i can explain clearly :) i am waiting for answers about this issue with a clear english please :D

Wardrobes will be affected by the wardrobe price/quality/supply stats (for that area ie Germany, france, turkey) but yes by how others are selling theirs price etc and their qualities will affect your sales/time.

Chairs will be affected by the chair price/quality/supply stats but the same as above.

As a side issue though i would not retail chairs but sell them via contract/market and at Q0

ok.thank you :) i ask it for that.i saw that everybody selling only wardrobes in their f. stores.if i produce lots of beds(for example)and have a big part of beds market i can raise the prices whenever i want and make too much profit from that. am i right?

Depends how you are selling the beds, if you want to maximise profit on them again i wouldn't retail, if you just want to dominate a certain market for yourself retail them and see how you get on, although i don't think there will be much profit if any in comparison for selling them Q0.

The reason companies tend to sell just wardrobes in the furniture stores is they are the highest profit item for the stores, if you are aiming for the highest profit there is no other option for the store.

Hmm... in theory: yes. ;)
But practically there are maximum stats prices that are limits for your price increasement.
You can influence the prices for such unpopular products (which I think is always very interesting!), but not as much as you want. You will notice that there is some kind of limit for your prices. The system is a bit confusing: You can sell for more in your stores but the average stats price will not raise anymore.

Here you can see the maximum stats prices for each product.

@ NYK: Just an addition:
I guess the best profits have wardrobes, directly followed by tables, then far beyond this come chairs and a bit behind that come beds.

How directly behind are tables? :) something i've not really looked at as you do tend to get blinded by seeing wardrobes, wardrobes, wardrobes posted everywhere, are they worth retailing as a sideline?

one more question: which location is the best for selling wardrobes? Turkey, Germany or France? i heard about Turkey but i am not sure.

@baris
Depends on which realm you play :)
Anyway, The profits change over time, and the 'best place' change with them :wink:
But Germany is always first or second place. (never seen that both france and turkey have better profit.)
