Help!

Ok, I'm aware i may be posting my questions in the wrong place but I've never used a game forum before so please bear with me.
I have a couple of questions. I've just started playing Kapilands am I'm having a few difficulties.
Firstly I'm not really making much money. Shouldn't it be slowly creeping up by now?
Secondly, I have done level 1 research on everything but when I send anything to market it still comes up as quality 0. Am I missing someting?
Thirdly, is it possible to produce more than one thing at a time in any plantation?
last question (for now, I'm sure I'll think of a few more!), is it possible to sell more than one product at a time in my grocery store?
A lot of you will probably think I'm a bit of a dolt but I've never played an online game before!
ANY tips and ideas will be gladly recieved!

You can only produce one product a time in any building.
You can only sell one product at a time in any store.
Q1 research doesn't mean you produce Q1 products. Quality is a calculation. (Quality produced = research + quality sum of all sub products / number of different sub products used +1)

Example:
I have Pullover research level 118. However, I only produce Q57 Pullovers.
Q57 Pullovers = Q118 Research + Q53 Wool + Q0 Power / 3 (2 sub products + 1)
Profit depends on what you are producing. Grocery and Beverage products(not including chickens and beef) make almost nothing. Compared to Leather Jackets, Waredrobes, Gas and Oil which make huge profits.

What are you producing, what buildings do you have, where are they build, etc.?

Wow, thanks for responding so quicky. Ok, got the bit about the quality. Thanks for that. And producing only one thing at a time, understood. I currently have 2 plantations, 1 fruit plantation and one cattle breeding. Also a grocery store. I'm thinking perhaps I should have bought a well instead since this is the raw material I find myself having to buy. Not quite sure which direction I really want to take with this game either! Clueless probably sums me up nicely! Lol To be honest I walked into this game blindly and perhaps I have bitten off a bit more than I can chew! I was simply looking for something to occupy myself while my partner plays his online game, stops me giving him grief!

you also have to remember to set the building max quality! i know i have forgten to set that a few times when i build a new building and expand it then i just start producing without setting the building q up. maybe you already know this. but if the max quality for a building is set to 0 the product prouced will be 0

Thanks Azer, been reading that link. It's gonna take me way more than an hour to get through it but i will plug away at it. I will probably be back sometime with more quiestions!
