Animal food?

I have noticed there is not much supply for animal food and think i might start producing it. But why does no-one already sell animal food on a large scale.
Is it uneconomical? Too complicated? someone must know why.

There are people that pay good money for high level Animal food on Realm 1. However, it is all sold via contract so I don't know the exact price.

Animal food is quite unsellable in groceries, but like Azer wrote it is often sold via contract (for cats and dogs to get a high Q), I normally just offer my animal food on the market when I start clearing my warehouse...

Honestly said, I have never seen so little Q0 animal food on the market like nowadays, and this leads me to the (maybe false) conclusion that some players started having animals and feeding them...

You cannot make animals, but you can either buy them with coins or from other players and feed them. This is a quite expensive hobby - not at the beginning, but the higher Q the animal is, the more food it will need to grow...

How do I receive status symbols and what's their value?
You'll neither be able to produce status symbols, not can you sell them in one of your stores.
# You can receive status symbols
# via the status market,
# as gift or award from other players
# by buying them with Coins in some of the special buildings
by winning quizzes in the Kapi Times or on the game board.
The status symbols' value is measured solely by what other players are willing to offer for them. Experience has shown however, that their value keeps rising continually.

What are special buildings and what are they used for?
All in all there are 11 different special buildings.
Four of these are social buildings (Kindergarten, hospital, nursing home and homeless shelter). depending on their level of expansion and the number of employees, goods can be delivered to these buildings. These deliveries increase your score. These points are added to your overall scores permanently. (In contrast to that, the points gained by status symbols will be discounted from your scores once you sell the status symbols).
The remaining seven buildings are both used to exhibit your status symbols and to buy new ones. You can reach other player's exhibitions via their show case.
Hint: Depending on their level of expansion, additional employees may be hired in all of the special buildings. They will help increase the country's population.

So I am presuming you can only exhibit them.

You forgot about the Community Special building. (You get points for paying cash to complete tasks.)

Animals:
All Animals are bought from the system for coins. Of course, Animals can then be sold via contract or via the market for caps.

Mice and Goldfish need corn to increase their quality while all other animals need Animal food instead.

Increasing an animal's quality does not increase your score. It does increase your place in that animals top score list. (Some people like to compete with different top lists, animals is one of them.)

Every time you feed the quality and quantity of animal foods goes up. (See the link I posted.)
